Tomorrow, NCSoft is adding some new content to Blade and Soul, including the Aerodrome dungeon, the centerpiece of the game’s Demonsbane system that promises a ranking system and increasing challenge tied to that system. If you were curious how that all works, allow this dev blog to break it all down for you

The Aerodrome dungeon itself is available to players that are level 60 and HM level 25+, while the Demonsbane system effective brings 80 stages to the dungeon and the possibility of 12 different boss mechanic modifiers. Getting to the next stage of the Aerodrome is done by earning Demonsbane XP, and any previously unlocked stages can be returned to at any time. The encounter will feature two bosses, each with its own loot tables depending on which stage players are at.

In addition, individual players earn Demonsbane Ranking, which lets players earn weekly rewards and end-of-season rewards. Dates for the first season of this content will be announced soon.
