Last year, we brought back our best MMO PvP award, but we didn’t create one for PvE, largely because it’s PvE MMOs taking home most of the awards every year anyway. But of course, it’s still worth considering which MMO offers the best PvE specifically. The real problem is deciding between the different flavors of PvE and PvM. Is raiding your cup of tea, or are you an overworld quester? Is small-group dungeoning your jam? Perhaps you’re like MOP’s Carlo, camped out in a grindspot happily grinding away for skills and loot? Is it OK if the combat is poorly done as long as the questing challenge is high? Or maybe you’ll put up with any type of PvE as long as the rewards are good?
