Korean MMO Project TS scored a global publisher – but it’s a blockchain purveyor

As we recently demonstrated in our lengthy list of in-development MMOs, there’s a whole lot coming down the pike. Now we can add another title to the list, a cross-platform fantasy from Korean developer Game Tales called Project TS.

While the Unreal Engine 5 MMO looks very pretty and promising, there are a couple of red flags to make us cautious. First is the acknowledgement that its studio, despite having some veterans from Lineage II and Ragnarok Online, hasn’t ever produced a video game before.

Second is the fact that Project TS just signed Com2uS as its global publisher. This is somewhat worrying that the Com2uS group boasts a blockchain game platform, and Project TS has already stated that it was going to utilize some form of NFT in its business model. So maybe don’t get too excited about this one.
