The Daily Grind: What’s the most you’ve ever spent on a single MMO?

So Star Citizen hit $600M in crowdfunding last month, and I have questions – specifically, questions for the gamers who keep pouring money into this pit. What the hell are you thinking?

OK, don’t answer that one. I understand throwing money at hope. I don’t understand doing it for 10 years. I hope y’all are at least playing No Man’s Sky or Starfield or something to pass the time. But I’ll never understand why you’d give a rich man money in 2023 when he hasn’t finished the MMO he promised after a decade. Some of you put thousands into this thing. I feel how much that hurts, and it’s not even my money.
