A major point of consideration for me when choosing an MMO class is whether I have the option to change my role within a group. A class that has the potential to perform two or more roles ends up being more attractive to me as a result, which is probably why I’ve rolled Druids in World of Warcraft more times than I can count.
(Note: I can only count to 14. Schooling failed me.)
Yet just because you roll a hybrid class doesn’t mean you end up taking advantage of all of those roles. In fact, I’d wager that a great majority of hybrid classes only end up doing DPS for almost all of their existence.
Am I right in this? Can you prove me wrong? Do you roll hybrid classes but only DPS?
