Fractured Veil makes more roadmap tweaks for 2024 but still projects January 18 early access launch

Isn't it all nice?

Fractured Veil has been changing its plans more frequently than people change their underwear, so it’s probably not too big a surprise to learn that Paddle Creek Games has made some more tweaks to its roadmap since it was last posted in April.

Just like last time, the roadmap sticks to seasons rather than calendar dates: Winter is bringing back the drone, introducing fishing, and adding NPC settlements; spring will focus on adding more social features, new areas to explore, a resting system, and different qualities for crafted items; and summer looks to add new biomes, more Hawaiian style clothing, and “an interesting new NPC for all your shooty needs.”

So where does this all leave the game’s early access launch date? Precisely the same as it was last October – January 18th, 2024, to be precise. It’s here that we once more reference those changing plans, as the survival sandbox was first angling for 2022 early access, then kicked the can down the road three additional times. So maybe adopt a wait and see attitude, all things considered.
