RuneScape has declared that “spring is in the air and chocolate is everywhere” as the MMORPG has started an all-new Easter event that includes the opening of a new Blooming Burrow hub that’s just full of immaculate springtime vibes.
This year’s seasonal event quest will task players with helping the Easter Bunny return to the top spot of his seasonal game in the face of encroaching competitors. Players can expect this quest to be an annual feature, while additional activities will spring up around the Burrow like mining for chocolate, hunting chocolate bunnies, and smithing foil to cover Easter eggs with. As for rewards, there’s a bunny outfit, currencies, and other goodies for completing the event quest, while tokens gathered from Burrow events can be traded for old and new Easter-themed items.
The Blooming Burrow is obviously the big highlight for this week’s update, along with a hotfix and some general updates made overall. As for the Easter event, that’s running from now until April 8th.
