Star Wars Galaxies Legends teases ships, city structures, and Jedi Themepark Part 2

Star Wars Galaxies rogue server SWG Legends has dropped its spring newsletter, with a few teases about the future of the game – in some cases, just images really, feelings. We spy what looks like a new droid, a new vehicle, new ships, and more player city structures – new parks and a landing pad, at the very least.

“The development team is on track to meet its goals stated in the final community transmission of 2023,” the devs write, referring to the massive city update earlier thisyear as well as ongoing testing of deep space comms. “You can expect some great rewards, such as new wearables, items to visually customize your ship components, three all-new player ships, and more! […] Jedi Themepark Part 2 is still slated to get another round of balance and QA testing before a planned release later this year. Finally, we are optimistic we will be able to add one, or perhaps two, world bosses by the end of this year, adding some much desired adventure to the galaxy.”

The Q&A section of the newsletter also drops a few hints: It sounds like the team is considering more wall mounts, the Ewok pizza oven deco, more standardization of color palettes, and pet like/dislike rerolls, but you can pretty much forget about another character slot or a vendor creation tool akin to character creation.

The letter ends by farewelling one of the team leads and noting that come this fall, Legends will have been online longer than the original game.
