Albion Online adds new language channels, randomized starter towns, and account-wide skins

It might be hard to remember it at this point, but launching Albion Online’s European fresh start server wasn’t the only thing that Sandbox Interactive did for the game last month. It also released its big quarterly update, Foundations. And now, with the Alby Europe hoopla finally behind it, the team has moved on to shoring up that release. In fact, some of the updates further the EU server’s progression, right on schedule.

Most notably, SBI says that it’s added Turkish and Arabic chat channels, randomized starter towns post-tutorial so everyone isn’t landing at Swamp Cross, increased the world size incrementally on the EU server as planned, boosted crafting building regen in cities (again, as planned), and sets multiple vanity skins to work account-wide so that players who purchased them on Alby Asia or Americas can use them on their new home shard.

As for combat balance, SBI has tweaked stats on both the arcane staff Starfall and sword Limitbreaker, fixed a reasonable list of weapon and UI issues, and cleaned up problems with siege banners.
