A milestone like 20 years of operation is the perfect reason to celebrate in big style, and that’s just what Lineage II is looking to do as the giant celebration that we covered earlier went live, encompassing two decades and three versions of the MMORPG.
The event was reason enough to debut a new trailer that condenses the events and adventures players have witnessed in-game, with all of the reverence and references that the milestone warrants, while also redirecting fans to all of the free goodies, activities, and updates across L2, Aden, and Classic.
Unfortunately, the MMORPG’s servers have apparently been under some significant strain thanks to both the launch of its Purple platform and the 20th anniversary, but NCsoft claims that it has found a solution that it will deploy sometime this week, followed by a compensation package for players once the studio is assured server problems are resolved.
