Legends of Aria Classic deals with a server hiccup and gathers player suggestions during its open beta

Last weekend we all were invited to a “surprise open beta” of Legends of Aria Classic, which itself is a return of the original sandbox MMORPG due to release on May 9th. With testing almost completed, we’ve decided to take a peek at how things have been going.

First off, let’s talk player numbers; specifically 219, which is the all-time peak for the test, a number that can probably be attributed to the fact that the servers will be wiped after testing finishes. As far as technical matters are concerned, information from Discord shows that there was a server crash that occurred shortly after the start of testing that appears to have since been addressed.

Meanwhile, Citadel Studios has assembled a suggestion box for the MMORPG where players can either write in their own ideas to add to the game or vote up those that they feel are most important. Some of the top items include a PvP test realm, crafting orders, consistent ways to earn back karma, and a variety of combat-specific tweaks.
