Paragon spinoff MOBA Predecessor introduces the new characters and ranked mode in latest patches

Since its early access release in March, the MOBA Predecessor has applied plenty of new goodies for players of the Paragon spinoff to enjoy, and that continued this week when Omeda Studios added an all-new character to the mix.

Say hello to Terra the Steadfast Bulwark, who would like to axe you a question, and that question is “Do you want an axe in your forehead?” Her skillset grants her a passive bonus to her next ability when she attacks enemies, allows her to throw a spectral axe at foes, or lets her become immune to crowd control and cleanse any debuffs when her ultimate is used.

The patch that introduces Terra has also made some balance tweaks to heroes, items, and gameplay matters such as more jungle XP in the middle of a match, an increase to crit damage, and minion AI improvements. Previous patches to the MOBA have further added things like a new ranked mode for competitive folks, the frost-wielding character Aurora, and the robotic assaulter Grim.exe.

Our own Fight or Kite columnist Sam had some time in this one’s early access release, so make sure to check out his impressions if you haven’t already.
