Albion Online is coasting into its seventh birthday this week with its Living Legacy event splashed across all three regional servers, pitting players against open-world mega-mobs based on some of the players who won seasonal competitions. There will indeed be cake, but more importantly, there’s a horsie and a fireworks cannon too.

“[T]o kick off the celebrations, the Living Legacy event returns from 23 UTC on July 11 for Albion Asia, and 10 UTC on July 12 for Albion Europe and Americas,” Sandbox Interactive says. “Consider this your official invitation to the party, but wear something you can get dirty with – because you’ll be hunting down statues old and new while gorging yourself on Fame-filled Anniversary Cake. It might get a bit messy.”

The towns are decorated for the occasion, and everyone’s getting a bundle of gifts from the devs: “[I]f you log in at any point during the event you’ll receive free, non-tradable commemorative gifts from [SBI]! Just check your in-game mail and you’ll find the Seventh Anniversary Avatar and Avatar Ring waiting for you.”
