Dune Awakening publishes the first of its planned monthly newsletters

If there’s one complaint that could be leveraged against Dune: Awakening, it’s that Funcom isn’t exactly generous with information about the survival sandbox MMO, unless you call mobile-aspected Tiktok-length clips of previously discussed features “communication.” That appears to be changing with the first printing of the MMO’s Communinet Signal, aka the game’s monthly newsletter.

Each edition of the newsletter will have some dedicated sections, starting off with the promise of “spicy game details” in the opening portion, followed by a roundup of happenings related to the game in the last month, a fanart section, and lastly a community Q&A portion.

To that end, this first post grants a brief look at the Hanovars bar location in Harko Village, then confirms that saving build blueprints will be a feature in the Q&A section. So while this first printing of the newsletter might not be plump with juicy information, it is at least the start of some regularly scheduled comms out of the title.
