We dare you to not read the next game update for EverQuest II in a snooty British accent. It can’t be done. And if it can be done, you’re missing out on making its title fun to say. So assuming you are following those instructions, you can now cast your pince-nez or monocle across the update with the start of beta testing this week.
Testing of GU126 will run from now until Tuesday, August 27th, and is open to all players so long as they own the Ballads of Zimara expansion. It’s otherwise a matter of opening the game’s launcher, selecting the beta from a version drop-down menu, and installing the build.
Players are also being reminded that the beta server can experience disconnections for updates and frequent wipes, so don’t get too attached to the test character and sally forth, wot wot.
