Black Desert readies a special PvP tournament for PC, expands merchantry for mobile

You would think that those who already climbed to the top 100 in the rankings of Black Desert’s Arena of Solare would have nothing to prove, but those players are being invited into an entirely new challenge: a tournament to test the PvP 100 and reward the best with glory and unique prizes.

Now that the arena season has concluded and goodies have been handed out for the top 100, the new tournament is set to begin. From August 31st to September 14th, players will compete in four different rounds of competition like duels and a “permadec” challenge. Those who want to watch this go down can tune in to the MMORPG’s Twitch channel, while timing, dates, and reward details await on the website.

As for the PC sandbox’s latest update, that brings some class balancing that mostly focuses on buffing the Ninja’s DoT abilities, improves boss knowledge earning for certain foes, and makes a few general fixes.

This week has also brought in some new content for Black Desert Mobile players that’s primarily focused on new merchantry features like the addition of new merchantry regions in Valencia, a new merchantry level cap, two new wagon types and additional wagon equipment, and the ability for wagons to quantum travel assuming a Doom dream horse is hitched to a wagon. You can’t make this stuff up, y’all.
