As promised, cozy MMO Palia has released update 0.183, Sunset Soiree, to beta players as of this afternoon – and no, it’s not that kind of sunset, so nobody panic.

“The patch introduces a delightful batch of new content, including increases to the Building Blocks and Flower limits, the new Lily Rattan Decor Set, the cutest Chapaa Plushes, collectable Potato Pods, and numerous quality-of-life improvements, including a home plot decor counter,” Daybreak-owned Singularity 6 says. “From making decor items searchable at the workbench to improving server stability, this update includes numerous quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes.”

Perhaps most notably – yes, even more than potato pods – is the patch’s upgrades to player housing.

“Players who have fallen in love with Palia’s Home Tours feature will be thrilled to know that the Sunset Soiree update adds even more ways to express creativity. With the removal of sub-limits for Building Blocks and increased Flower decor limits, players have even more freedom to design their dream plot. And a much-requested on-screen decor object counter will help players plan and track their creations, ensuring every object is perfectly placed.”

Downtime began at 10 a.m. EDT and was expected to be over by 1 p.m. with the patch, which is just as this post is going live.
