This one goes out to all the non-crafters in the house. No, not you oddballs who opt out of the player economy on some weird anti-interdependence principle, but specifically the people who are fine with crafting and economy existing but just don’t really want to spend their time crafting themselves.

See, I know these folks exist, in large quantities, because they buy stuff from my shops, including stuff that would be trivial to make. And heck, there are even things I would rather buy than bother to make myself.

But some of you feel that way about everything, and I always wonder about you. Not one craft? Is it a time thing? Hate the idea? Just bored by crafting systems? Don’t want to farm mats? Rather make money elsewhere and buy cream of the crop? Don’t want to learn how to maximize it? Enjoy buying from experts?

Are you an MMO player who never does crafting – and if so, what’s your rationale?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
