World of Warships turns nine years old in September with a new event, port, and rewards

Believe it or not, World of Warships is turning nine years old later this month – on September 17th, in fact – so naturally, Wargaming is turning on the birthday fireworks machine. Also Boggzy’s going to sing a dad-joke birthday song and eat cake in front of you in the new video.

“To commemorate the occasion, Festive rewards, an Aquatica Farm event, and a new port are being introduced to the game,” Wargaming says of the content rolling out in update 13.8. “Alongside all this anniversary content comes Early Access to new Pan-American Battleships, plus new seasons of Brawls and Ranked Battles join the fray. World of Warships: Legends also brings a new campaign, Pan-European destroyers, and the European Navies collection for players to enjoy.”

We also spy a new puzzle collection and older French destroyers now in the tech tree, plus those aforementioned ranked battles are already live in their new season last night; new brawls begin September 9th, followed by a new season of clan battles September 11th. Happy birthday, Warships!
