The first season for The First Descendant is continuing to roll on through the month of October with the second update for the season on October 10th, which offers up another character, some more fights, and a new mission type to look forward to.
The patch is headlined by the arrival of Ultimate (aka slightly better) Freyna, who brings a pair of new abilities that let her recover shields and increase her attack power, as well as a story that follows the character’s past. Speaking of Descendants, the update will also bring some new abilities for Hailey.
Another primary feature of the patch is a new void intercept boss battle against Death Stalker, a new Frost Watcher ultimate weapon that lets any character fire cryogenic bullets at the cost of lowered movement, and the new 400% Infiltration Operation mission type, an endless wave survival mode where players can earn a unique currency to use at a special NPC who will arrive every weekend.
