Pax Dei previews a journal feature ahead of a map geography revamp

Are you having trouble keeping track of things in Pax Dei? Then you need a journal, and soon developer Mainframe Industries will be handing you one in the very near future. An in-game journal, we should clarify; the studio is not sending players a fancy physical journal.

The journal will be a one-stop resource for all kinds of in-game information, including unlocked recipe details and the ability to pin recipes, additional ingredient details and requirement lists for recipes, and sorting and filtering features – all of the things players could want from a survivalbox journal. Expect this functionality to arrive sometime later this year.

As for Pax Dei’s more immediate future, the game’s map geography will be completely updated in its next major content update. This change will allow the studio to add a new biome, change resource distribution, adjust the borders of home valleys, and add new PvE locations. This will necessitate the elimination of all buildings, but Mainframe promises to create a system that will preserve buildings for players to place on new land before the update goes live. As for that update’s timing, the studio is aiming to release that “within a month.”
