The appetite for the multiplayer RPG My Time at Evershine was already pretty apparent when its Kickstarter campaign met its goal within 30 minutes, but if you needed more confirmation, then look no further to the campaign’s closing total, which wrapped up at over $2.8M raised.
As readers may remember, this new high-water mark for the game’s funding means players can expect the game to bypass early access and go straight into full release – a fact that Pathea Games confirmed when the $2.5M milestone was met earlier this week. Additional unlocked stretch goals include better player body customization, a “rival romance” that will see at least two pairs of non-core NPCs form their own relationships, and 20 new outfits for player characters.
THANK YOU! 🙌 My Time at Evershine is 1415% funded 🎉, with so many stretch goals unlocked! 🚀 Thanks to your support, we can skip Early Access and focus on the full launch! 🎮✨ pic.twitter.com/G9kHUu7oPu

A video released by the studio ahead of the crowdfunding drive’s end interviewed several of the devs at Pathea, who discuss their feelings about the Kickstarter, express excitement and determination at meeting player expectations, discuss assessing and acting on player feedback, and share a few tidbits about what’s being worked on such as unique animations and pajama outfits. It’s an overall sweet peek behind the scenes that awaits below.
