Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen was generally toying with the idea of merging servers last month, and today server merges are indeed moving forward that will ultimately see the number of servers shrink down to eight.
The merges in question are primarily affecting NA west coast and east coast PvE servers: Aellos, Khadassa, Korcera, Lynchandrell, Runaway Reef, Syronai, The Sacred Six, and Wovarren will be smooshed into Ossari, and Aevos, Axecutor, Dark Trade, Ermos, Khaga, Lucent Tree, Revenant, and Veil of Azeris will be merged into Stormona. The pre-existing Havensong and Black Moon servers will remain, as will EU, OCE, and the two recently added FFA PvP servers.
Once merging is finished, players with duplicate names will have either a number or an “x” appended to their names. Those who wish to update their names will need to either submit a support ticket or post in a Discord channel with three acceptable name alternatives listed in order of preference. Maintenance to complete these merges will happen at 12:30 p.m. EDT, so brace for the squishery.
