so does anyone want to hang out

Many of us were surprised when we learned that survival sandbox MMORPG The Quinfall made it to its 1.0 launch this past Friday. So naturally the next question to answer would be, “How did its launch weekend go?”

By and large, it appears to be pretty routine as multiplayer releases go: The game’s updates have primarily been about bug fixing thus far, while the MMO’s Discord confirmed the opening of a third instance in the America server as well as a continued focus on “providing a smooth, enjoyable, and high-quality in-game experience.”

As for its overall reception, that appears to be mixed – literally – according to Steam user reviews, which express surprise at how solid the game is thus far, though there are complaints about its optimization and accusations of pay-to-win monetization. Even so, the launch appears to have drawn a crowd, with an all-time peak of over 6,000 players yesterday, while Vawraek Technologies celebrated its climb up the SteamDB charts.
