Eldritch horror appears to be the flavor du jour in the latest test server update to Conan Exiles, which has opened up the gates to the Sunken City, where “a Great Old One is about to tear through the membrane of reality and unleash a new age of horror upon the known world.” So, you know, just another day in the Exiled Lands. If the prospect of saving the world from descending into abject madness isn’t enough for you, then perhaps the Sunken City can entice you with array of “new loot and recipes worthy of the Deep Ones.”
The update also continues the game’s ongoing major landmark revamp, and this time it’s the game’s major capitals that are getting the love. Sepermeru, New Asagarth, The Summoning Place, and the Volcano have all been “re-worked and re-populated” with a number of new NPCs, new bosses, and of course new loot and rewards for players who are able to conquer the challenges that await. In addition, players can now acquire a number of new pets: Frost giants and scorpions can now be tamed, and the new Witch Doctor feat allows players to summon an undead cohort of wights and skeletons to do their bidding.
