Blizzard revamps and rereleases Warcraft III Reforged today

Nobody tell my husband, but Blizzard is officially dropping Warcraft III Reforged today, so you can relive your real-time strategy childhoods all over again. Launch is this evening at 6 p.m. EST.

“Warcraft III: Reforged is a stunning reimagining of the revolutionary real-time strategy game that laid the foundation for Azeroth’s most epic stories. It is a remake in the truest sense, featuring a thorough visual overhaul, a suite of contemporary social and matchmaking features, and more. Command the Night Elves, Undead, Orcs, and Humans as alliances shift and armies clash in this timeless real-time strategy game.”

Of course, none of this is free, so you’ll be buying the game all over again for $29.99 or $39.99, depending on how many extras you’ve just got to have. But if you’re into this, it’ll be worth it for the new graphics, cutscenes, matchmaking population, and the new custom maps you know clever people are going to come up with.

We’re guessing nobody reading this needs a refresher on the races, but in case you do, Blizzard did put up some behind-the-scenes pieces on the Undead, Humans, and Night Elves.
