Update 28 of The Elder Scrolls Online has apparently not exactly landed on all fours for many people, according to a series of tweets from the game’s official account, with several players on both PC and consoles experiencing “active game crashes” among a host of other problems. That said, the same tweet thread promises that work on a fix is underway and should be arriving soon.
The patches in question are scheduled to arrive on December 7th for PC and December 9th for console, and will include fixes for some of the more prevalent crashes afflicting players, refunds for missing skill points, and some other unspecified fixes. All patches are currently being certified at the time of this writing.
In spite of all of the problems, the Undaunted event, which readers will recall was pushed back earlier, will still go on as scheduled, starting off this coming Thursday, December 3rd. Fingers crossed that this event doesn’t exacerbate things.
U28 Patch Update: We recognize the most recently published patch for PC and consoles did not fix all the active game crashes you’ve been experiencing since Update 28 was released, and we’ve been hard at work identifying these crashes and working on getting them fixed. (1/3)
