I WANT THINGS

We have all accepted that however ridiculous video games are, there is a limit in that you cannot actually carry endless amounts of stuff on your character and you must instead manage your inventory. This is not great fun, but it is the way that MMOs work. Naturally, what it actually means in practice is that you have one open spot in your inventory that can contain something, and otherwise you have your inventory stuffed to the gills with garbage. So every so often you have to go through and do inventory management.

This is gameplay.

Of course, I have heard rumors that somewhere there are people who actually take very good care of their MMO inventories and actually know where all of their relevant items are and why they have them. These people confuse and frighten me. Some people are actually even worse about it and are continually running out of space, too. So what about you? How diligent are you with your MMO inventory management?

Every morning, the Massively Overpowered writers team up with mascot Mo to ask MMORPG players pointed questions about the massively multiplayer online roleplaying genre. Grab a mug of your preferred beverage and take a stab at answering the question posed in today’s Daily Grind!
