Elder Scrolls Online is giving away a two-person horse mount for… playing the game

Get in loser, we're going to Gold Road

If you’re the kind of person who loves to cook up her own spells, then you were probably already going to dig deeply into Elder Scrolls Online’s scribing system when it launches in Gold Road next week. If you’re not, however, you still might want to consider it as ZeniMax Online Studios is giving away one hell of a reward to those who complete the whole scribing questline in the early months of summer: a multi-person horse mount.

“Running from June 3 until July 1 for PC/Mac and June 18 until July 16 for console players, this new Anniversary Spotlight grants everyone who delves deep into the system a special reward,” the studio says. “What special reward? Complete the Scribing meta-achievement “Inheritor of the Scholarium” during the Anniversary Spotlight window and you can claim the coveted Wayrest Vanner Pillion Steed mount from the in-game Crown Store for free. To unlock this achievement, you need to complete every quest in the Scribing questline (six in total) and restore the Scholarium.”

Sounds easy, right? Well, you do need to be level 30 or have the champion system unlocked on one character on your account to start the quest. And of course, you can’t start until the launch on your platform, and then you’ve got just under a month to get it done. But after that, we’re expecting to see so many “get in loser” memes. Good luck.
