It’s time for another trip to the desert if you’re a regular subscriber to RuneScape, as the MMORPG has officially launched its Beneath Scabaras’ Sands quest line, bringing players the next step of the desert region’s story arc.
“The sands are stirring and corrupted scarab creatures have been sighted across the desert. The Pharaoh of Menaphos can’t sit idly by and seeks assistance to find the God of Isolation and Wisdom. The time has come to return to the Desert for a trio of quests leading to the final confrontation with the Goddess of Destruction herself: Amascut.”
This first in a series of quests is open to subscribers who have met the various requirements to start the story, while the rest of the patch makes several adjustments to the new Woodcutting and Fletching levels, puts away the Christmas decorations in Burthorpe, and makes some general fixes to the game.
