Regardless, Lynked: Banner of the Spark is either making use of it or bringing it back from obscurity with its newest update, and the Beach Bum update is not really about being a beach bum. You’ll be on a beach, though. There’s new seasonal cosmetics to earn from special missions and seasonal summer-themed cosmetics.
Players can also take part in three new 5-Star Expeditions (one per biome) and new Challenge Modes bringing you to 6-Star and even 7-Star challenges. More importantly, the game has rolled out special seasonal cosmetics to the game via Twitch drops, which gives players even more seasonally appropriate kit to slap on their characters. Or, more accurately, your fun indoors in an air-conditioned room that is probably far from the sun, but with characters who are theoretically in the sun.
