Pathfinder Online shows off group play video

What does it look like when you get a whole lot of players in Pathfinder Online taking on monsters, fighting one another, and milling about in public spaces? We could tell you, but that’s not nearly as helpful as watching a video with plenty of players doing exactly that. Visual medium and all, you understand.

The video includes some older footage from January and covers both PvP and PvE combat as well an ending note of players happily milling about at the nearest tavern. If you want to see how the game looks in action but don’t want to spend the money required to do so in person, jump on past the break and check it out.

Mathew_Reuther ChristopherPierce But that seems like a pretty minor beef imo (honestly, I would have a hard time seeing it, but I get what you’re saying; LOTRO has the same problem and it was there than for VG). It just seems silly to say “great landscapes” and “decent characters” and then decry some issues with their integration, so I just don’t accept that those things together add up to “awful.” There were lots of problems with VG, but art design was not a significant flaw.

WandaClamshuckr Koshelkin It will look quite different in the final version I’m sure. The Landscape is not designed whatsoever but just barren fields. As soon as map artists do some work this will make things quite different. The animation will hopefully get updated, too. Dunno. If you don’t want to back up on your pessimism, do so. I’ll won’t try to talk you out of it(anymore). Farewell.

Cyroselle Look at the ground textures and look at the trees. Even like that, Pathfinder is better with it’s first test build.
