SWTOR is streamlining its cash shop for the expansion

New and improved features aren’t the only changes that BioWare has in store for Star Wars: The Old Republic: Knights of the Fallen Empire. The studio is also streamlining the game’s cartel market and making some adjustments to the contents of cartel packs.

The changes to the market include making more previously released items available, improving the search interface for collections, and changing the names of rarity labels for lockbox items. Speaking of which, BioWare is promising better quality items in each cartel pack with each one guaranteed to hold a toy, armor, mount, or decoration and one other thing.

Really wish there was a way to get cartel reputation for the older packs.

Michael18 You can use the free token for an “Instant Level 60” character to jump right into the new content. If you want to go into it with an existing character, then you would have to level up to 60 first.

Michael18 http://dulfy.net/2015/06/17/swtor-starting-at-level-60-for-kotfe/

, when you get Fallen Empire you will receive one free level 60 character. This character must be a new character, you cannot “boost” an existing character up to 60. Beyond that first one which is included free with KOTFE, you can purchase additional level 60 characters through the Cartel Market at any time.

Bannex19 :-) How is it in any way immersive to have a world where people who spend more don’t have nicer stuff???  That is so bizarre and unrealistic it just breaks all sense of immersion.

Michael18 I believe you would need to play through all the original content. If you subscribe right now, you will get 12x story mission xp which basically means you can just do the story quests. It might take like 6 – 8 hours to go from 1-55. I’m not that xp extends from 55-60, but even if it doesn’t, it’s maybe 3-4 hours to go from 55-60

I have played until about 5 weeks after launch and have a level 49 character (jedi consular). Could I immediately start with the new content, once the expansion comes out (maybe with a new character)?

How about instead of trying to gouge all the money you can..you can spend some money yourself and let us share keybind between characters or stop pulling the internal rendering resolution from the EDID of the monitor which is absolutely insane. SWTOR is the only program I have ever seen do this.
