The very first technical alpha for Blade and Soul is live, according to the game’s official Twitter feed. The studio is sending out alpha keys in waves to a few of the players who have purchased a founder’s pack.
While today’s test is small, the larger crowd is no doubt looking forward to the larger beta that will kick off later this month. NCsoft talked a little bit about what players can expect in the beta test, which includes testing out the premium currency, earning rewards for giving feedback, and even buying premium membership which can be gifted to friends.
Blade and Soul is aiming for an October 30th closed beta test and an early 2016 launch in the west. Players can guarantee a spot in the upcoming beta tests by purchasing one of the founder’s packs, which run from $25 to $125.
