Yesterday I implored the MOP chat room to talk me out of purchasing The Crew. Thankfully they did, because today it’s on sale via Steam. Strangely, it was on sale for 13 bucks when I bought it a few minutes ago, but by the time I finished writing this post and went to link the source, it had migrated north to $20.09! Either way, a sale’s a sale, I suppose.
The gold version with the season pass and a bunch of vehicle DLC is also on sale, though I don’t know whether or not either version includes the forthcoming Wild Run expansion. I suspect not, but since my download hasn’t finished yet, and since neither Ubisoft nor Steam has made the answer to that question obvious, I’ll have to update you in a couple of hours.
In any case, huzzah for cheap open world racing thrills!
