Betawatch: The Division enters beta this month at last (January 15, 2016)

Divide by THIS.

It seems like The Division was going to forever be the title that didn’t quite make its way to an actual beta test, but that’s finally changing. After rumors that its beta was coming this month, it was confirmed that the tests will start right around the end of January… and stop very soon thereafter. So it’s more of the “stress test” sort of beta. There’s some new gameplay footage for those among you who can’t wait until the end of the month.

And now for my next trick, yes, it’s more stuff going on over the past week in the beta field!

Is there a list down there? Silly question, of course there’s a list. You know to let us know if we missed something, yes? Awesome!

As always, we consider an MMO to be in open testing if it features free, public signups and will server wipe prior to launch. An MMO is marked in closed testing if it’s running a private test phase that cannot freely be accessed by the general public; it’s usually under NDA as well. Early access and crowdfunded MMOs whose tests we deem legitimate will be included. So-called “open beta” soft-launch MMOs with cash shops, no sign of launch in the west, or limited interest for our readers will not be listed; we also do not list expansions.

Eliot_Lefebvre BigAngryPlays I’m pretty sure I’d still be writing 2015 on my checks, if I still wrote checks. =D

BigAngryPlays Thanks for letting me know! I seriously have not yet gotten accustomed to writing 2016 yet, obviously.

So on a whim, I jumped into Titan Siege because I have heard absolutely nothing about it other than this one liner in this article.

For lineage classic players, you may be interested. For everyone else, nothing special, feels like a beta mmo which moshed some lineage/blade and soul and wow together in a frying pan.

Siphaed BigAngryPlays First underline is where I’m talking about. Second one is what you’re probably talking about.

Um, it’s right.  Are you a year behind? Oh, wait…are you from the future?  What’s it like in the future?! Has the fad of Virtual Reality faded away yet? Did the development of Star Citizen ever finish?  Does the US assign Dennis Rodman as “ambassador interim” to try to make peace talks with North Korea?

Camelot Unchained has had practically no news since the new year started.  Sad, this makes us.
