Firefall’s next update is already content-complete

7

What’s going on behind the scenes with Firefall‘s production? If you had asked that a week ago, the only way to know would have been to work at the development studio or devise an elaborate system of listening devices to spy on the studio’s goings-on. But you don’t have to resort to employment or illegal wiretapping any longer; the developers have shared what’s going on with fans in the most recent state of the game dispatch.

The major focus for production is twofold at the moment: squashing bugs caused by patch 1.6 while handling outstanding issues, including player perks not properly unlocked in the wake of patch 1.6. The team is smaller than it has been in the past, which means that some issues have necessarily been moved to a lower priority, such as the remaining players who have had issues with patch 1.6 migration. The next update is already content-complete, however, so players can take heart that it’s on its way and will provide plenty more to be done.

By content complete, they must mean that they’ve got all the major bugs incorporated and working solidly, and they’re just finishing up a few features in top. If their last major patch was anything to go by.
I’m still hating on the fact that FF through Steam automatically logs you in, bypassing all account security and there is nothing you can do about it except uninstall.

I played like 20 odd hours and sort of lost interest. How is the game doing now days?

The elite ranks ruined the game to me. All those players that got level up packs because of the QQ crying over gear changes put me off of the game. Now you have players running around with 100 or more elite ranks that they didn’t even earn but got them for whining on the forums. So they created this elitist player base that won’t team up with you unless your ER matches their’s.more than half the player base didn’t get these level up packs because they didn’t have gear that was made useless because they didn’t spend time exploiting content they weren’t supposed to like these elitist jerk in the game. Red5 new they were doing this and looked the other way. Then to add insult to the rest of the player base they reward them.

Why do you do this to me red 5. Every time I uninstall this game from me not playing they release a massive update that peeks my curiosity.

A console port would do this game wonders. It’s just as good as The Division, if not better in some respects.
