After a few months on Steam early access, the isometric sandbox Linkrealms is going free-to-play on October 10th.

The title currently costs $20 on the store, so if you were thinking of giving it a try, you might want to wait a week or two until the free-to-play switch. Developer Mythyn Interactive said that the business model change is due to the game being ready for a larger crowd.

Linkrealms recently revamped its combat balance, improved its server stability, and added the new criminal and newcomer protection systems. Next on the docket for the indie title are improvements to its crafting and questing components.
