World of Warcraft’s pet battle system is one of those features that either you really love or you completely ignore. If you’re of the former persuasion, then you might be flipping out over the promised addition of an actual pet battle dungeon with Patch 7.2.
Yesterday, the devs posted a guide for the dungeon: what it is, how to get there, how it works, and what rewards you might get from it. The dungeon takes place in a modified Wailing Caverns, where a weekly quest challenge awaits Pokém… pet battle trainers. The team recommends that you have at least 15 level 25 pets to make it through the full challenge, as pets cannot be healed or revived during the ordeal.
For completing the challenge, players will get a reward bag that might contain leveling stones, pet charms, and a shot at one of three new pets. There’s also a mysterious mystery in the dungeon that the devs are only hinting at, so when you figure that out, let us know, hm?
