World of Warcraft’s mythic dungeons are going to kick your butt in Patch 7.3

Let me actually just get stronger.

Vacation time’s almost over, sweetheart; it’s time to go back to serious work in World of Warcraft.

Additional Patch 7.3 datamining indicates that Blizzard’s team isn’t making the next round of dungeons a pushover. Specifically, mythic plus dungeons will pose a significant challenge to players until or unless they are able to acquire the gear to help them survive. To aid in that endeavor, 7.3 dungeons will provide higher item level gear, starting with ilevel 845 for standard dungeons and climbing to 885 and beyond for mythic plus.

Patch 7.3 has been in testing for a while now and might be coming by the end of the month. The update promises a host of new endgame content, including three zones on the planet Argus and the Seat of the Triumvirate dungeon.

Yet the soloable catch up gear in Argus is 930? Seems a bit silly to start new harder group stuff lower.

The ilevel bloat this expansion is just silly.

Yeah it’s kinda crazy how exponentially the ilvl rose this expansion. I’m not sure if it’s in line with prior expansions, but i really do wish that Blizz would tone it down. Not because it’s unachievable for casuals, but moreso because content is consistently being either undertuned or overtuned because of the gear disparity between top level raiders and regular players. It’s either that you’re rolling over content or you’re struggling to fight your way through..

They do it so casual players can see the previous raid tiers on normal or higher. Also so there are meaningful gains in DPS each tier.
