Crystal of Re:union is a mobile MMO that enlists Hercules and Joan of Arc

Looking to “enhance and overwhelm” your foes? Then keep an eye on Crystal of Re:union, an up-and-coming mobile MMORPG that’s being developed for release in southeast Asia and Oceania.

The isometric title looks like it features kingdom building and all sorts of battles. Of particular interest is the inclusion of heroes, some of which are drawn from mythology and history. Joan of Arc, a female Hercules, and Beowulf are all tapped (for some reason) to be included in the game. Maybe their agents are getting a little desperate, we don’t know.

Crystal of Re:union will come out for both iOS and Android, and you can check out its trailer after the break.

Interesting timing. I just played this game for about two weeks on the Japanese version, and I can tell you this isn’t worth the investment, compare to games like Galaxy on Fire: Alliance.

The biggest problem of this game is one single high level “veteran” can basically “fly over” their castle to a smaller/newer alliance gathering spot and raid everything in sight, and before the alliance can react, the invader can just “fly” away.

This “teleportation” mechanism is the cancer in this game and can be easily abused by buying them on the cash shop. It’s borderline officially sanctioned griefing, so yeah, stay away if you want a balanced and polished pvp game.

For building, is there a instant build option using money? I really don’t like those options and I’m normally tolerant of mobile games

Yes you can. tho those insta-build speedups are quite abundant in the beginning and easy to acquire without spending cash. It’s not really bad on this aspect because resource gathering and troop marching all are non-reducibles.

Joan of Arc, Hercules? Sounds like they’re surfing on the trend started by the Fate/ series.

If you’re going to do Shite Advertisements Mop, At least label it as such. This is so disgustingly blatant it isn’t even funny.

There is quite literally just under 2 seconds of actual gameplay quickly glossed over in the entire 1:16 video. (From near the end of second 29 to the start of second 31). And even during those under 2 seconds they’re moving rapidly and trying not to let you get a good look. That’s normally a great sign when they do all they can to hide the actual gameplay.

Looks like trash

I saw about two seconds of gameplay in all of that nonsense.

It does indeed look like trash.

As long as their names are popular, but not trademarked, anything goes I guess… -.-

Their version of Hercules looks better than Bill Murray’s version.

Nah, Not really. Gotta love all the Cultural appropriation of the east. Heroes and Myths of the west? Sexy babes to the east. Yet people only seem to bitch about it when White Americans do it. Interesting, isn’t it?

maybe i played too many japanese games, but cultural appropriation is a rather silly thing to bitch about, in general. If you must bitch something, there are plenty more valid points in this game.
