Bless Online teases players with a class overview before launch

Sure, why not, who cares.

The Steam launch of Bless Online draws ever closer, and that means you’re going to need to pick a class to play. You have a choice between three different flavors of heavy armor, arrows, or spicy chipotle staff user, although the game would probably prefer that you use the correct names (Berserker, Guardian, Paladin, Ranger, and Mage). But if you don’t know much about what these various classes do, you can also check out quick descriptions of all five on the official Steam page.

Three of the five classes also get short animations, although they’re really just animated wallpapers; you can check them out just below all the same. And if you’re still considering which class you want to be, perhaps they’ll help you sort things out. Or, as mentioned, you can read the descriptions. Those are a bit meatier in terms of information.

I’m excited to try the game but THIS is awful and very pointless…

Uhhhh what exactly was the point of those 22 second videos? They could have just made them gifs ffs.

I’m guessing because of a number of animated wallpaper programs that allow you to loop videos as backgrounds.

Because if you seen them trying to play the classes it would be at 10 fps. dx9 is all i have to say.

I watched a Steparu video yesterday with a Panthera Ranger in a pink dress wandering around killing mobs.

I shut it off after a minute or so it just doesn’t look fun or interesting.

Il wait a few months to see people’s opinions about it and its cash shop.
I find selling an item in the cash shop to protect you from PK’ers pretty fked up. Instead of just making that a toggle system in the game.

This is the reason, combined with developers stating Bless endgame is PvP and that is their focus, that I’ll be staying away from it.

Just to help clear up any ignorance that might be out there regarding this issue:

Yes, there is a cash shop item that removes your PvP “flag”.

Its costs IN GAME CURRENCY.

They could have just sold it on some npc, but probably figured having it on the globally accessible cash shop would be more convenient for players.

Get you facts straight. It’s only till max level then is cash shop only. Stop shilling for a game that will make you look bad after release. This game has been p2w for 8 years and will not change. Steam fanboys were trying to hype this game but its all but dead after they learned about the armor grading and cash shop costume melting. Steam will hype this up because they love to steal your money like these Korean pvp games

No, at max level it will cost cash shop currency, not in-game. But they’ve also said late-game activities will net you cash shop currency, so ideally you’d make enough for the unflag item if you wanted to avoid the pvp.. though like ArcheAge, this probably isn’t the game to play if you’re trying to avoid pvp.

And @Venomlicious, you might want to get your own facts straight. While the game started development in 2009 as ‘Bless,’ it didn’t actually go public as Bless Online until 2011, and the first playable build was in 2014. So no, it hasn’t been “p2w for 8 years.”

Can you tease me a cash shop or something playable. This game is a joke and has been for 8 years. Unreal 3 and dx9 is why they put still images as class videos. Melting cash shop costumes for upgrade 100% and pet reroll scrolls for pvp advantages is why we see no cash shop. This game needs to just go away like every game from this country. Its been a frame rate nightmare for 8 years but they fixed everything for steam in a few months.

They must have invented time travel during the development of this game.
