Do you want to be able to buy and sell items in
Final Fantasy XIV while you’re on the go or just talk with your free company? The
FFXIV mobile companion app already lets you do all of that for the price of absolutely nothing. But today
the app is rolling out its new paid features, which
will allow you to do slightly more in the companion app. Specifically, it’ll allow you to organize your chocobo saddlebag and your retainer inventories while making more purchases from the market board on the go.
Paying for the app also unlocks an additional retainer and double the saddlebag space in-game, which serves as another notable benefit. At $5 per month, it’s a pretty cheap subscription for some big benefits, but they’re all upside and you should be fine without them. Unless you really can’t live without massive increases to your chocobo saddlebags, of course.
