Dauntless introduces new dire behemoth, more character customization options, and bug fixes

The latest update to indie monster-hunting MMO Dauntless went live recently, and it brought with it a handful of new content — including a new(ish) behemoth, new hairstyles, new-and-improved UIs, and new character customization options — as well as a staggering number of bug fixes and quality of life improvements. Slayers can now face off with the Scorchstone Hellion, an amped-up, “dire” version of the Hellion that’s sure to test the mettle of even the most experienced slayers.

The update also introduced some new hairstyles for those slayers who like some curl to their coifs. On top of that, character customization has been further enhanced with the addition of some new feature sliders (and with the polishing of some existing ones, as well). And last, but not least, the devs have implemented new user interfaces for grenade crafting, potion crafting, and Middleman purchases, making them simpler to navigate. Although the patch was perhaps a bit light on the new-content side of things, it also added a whole ton of bug fixes, plus a couple of tuning adjustments, the details of which you can find in the full patch notes over at the game’s official site.
