Big changes are afoot in Elder Scrolls Online this week, starting with the anointing of a new loremaster on the team. You might recall that the game’s previous lore wrangler, Lawrence Schick, left the company in early February. Well now the role has passed on to another capable hand: Leamon Tuttle.
“[Tuttle]Â has been working on the ESO team for 8+ years and has spent 6 years designing content for the game,” ZeniMax posted. “He was the principal writer on both Clockwork City and Murkmire. We are very excited to have him move into this role!”
In other ESO news, the game’s cash shop got a major refresh, with plenty of items coming in for the month of March. Subscribers can grab themselves a free Sheogorath statuette, while everyone else can scope out the costumes, hairstyles, motifs, furniture, houses, and personalities. Also, there’s a novelty stick horse mount, and the less said about that, the better. Players can also buy the new Wrathstone DLC pack for the PC on the store, while console gamers are going to need to wait until March 12th for that option. The star of the update, however, will soon be a pet rock.
“Tired of pets that follow you everywhere? Fed up with feeding them? Step up to Pebble Pal, the pet that’s a … rock. The Pebble Pal pet will be available in the Crown Store on all platforms for a limited time during the Jester’s Festival, from March 21 to April 2 at 10am EDT.”
