Be honest, a visit to New Zealand to see all the Lord of the Rings filming locations is still on your bucket list. You can make it a reality this fall – spring, really – when Path of Exile’s Grinding Gear Games plays host to its first-ever ExileCon.

Running November 16th to 17th in Auckland, New Zealand, the event is expected to herald announcement for the 3.9.0 and 4.0.0 expansions as well as offer exclusive digitals, unreleased content hands-ons, tourney finals, and dev discussions, plus a big ol’ party.

VIP tickets ($500) and Ultra VIP tickets (1000) appear to be sold out already, but there are still some regular tix ($200) on offer as of press time. The studio said not to worry, though, if stuff appears sold out – this is only round one:

“We are initially selling one big batch of tickets, but will hold some in reserve for later release. Don’t worry if you miss out, we’ll make sure to indicate in advance when the second batch will go on sale.”

Can’t attend in person? Hobbiton will miss you, but you can catch the ExileCon events via stream for free.
