It’s not just the sixth week of the Season of Skulls over in Anthem; it’s also the last one. Yes, the season is coming to a close now, but that does mean one last hurrah for players, starting with a return of all the prior world bosses in freeplay. All of the arenas are also available this week, giving the last week a suitably dramatic feel for a big send-off. All of your favorites through the season, or something.
The new inversions also challenge players to think about ammo in more depth, with a change removing spare ammo but upping ammo drop rate and a damage bonus for running out a clip. Combine that with a new rotation of items in the game’s seasonal shop and players will have plenty to do even with the looming possibility of the game being rebooted in the not-so-distant future. (That one might not be very skull-related.)
