At least one WoW Classic PvP server now appears to be 100% Horde

Technically this is probably a victory

Did you think that the faction war in WoW Classic could never actually be won? Turns out it can, since it appears that the entirety of the Alliance population on the Flamelash server has opted to nope right out of the faction imbalance. This has prompted players to shift between arguing that Blizzard is to blame for not balancing the factions or free transfers properly and that Horde players are to blame for turning the game into an unbalanced gank festival that made the game functionally unplayable for anyone who made an Alliance character.

The lack of any official realm census obviously makes it impossible to absolutely verify whether or not the server is really devoid of Alliance players, but in this case the perception is almost as important. Players have also noted that while battlegrounds will allow for interactions with the PvP system, they will not bring back the open-world PvP, although we somehow doubt that any hypothetical Alliance players will be particularly upset to see that gone.

I fee like this is a bad time to go…

“Lok’tar…. O’Gar…. For the Horde….”?

This is why classic was always a bad idea. It’s pretty much nose dived the franchise by splitting the retail Comunity up more than it has been.
I quit a few months ago becauee there is just no point playing it

It’s a feature! I mean, it’s an old, badly balanced game. What would anyone expect?

I’m pretty sure that didn’t happen in Vanilla WoW.

It wasn’t easy to transfer servers in true vanilla.

Geez. I remember back in the day when I would just endlessly gank the Defias traitor during the escort quest the Alliance had. I mean I spent DAYS in Westfall, had entire trains of low & high levels trying to keep this asshole alive.

Now with the way gaming is, people just don’t show anymore? Dang…

As I write this, I think more and more about my adventures in WoW in ’04 & ’05. Running Dire Maul when it first came out and killing the healer in our group because he sucked, when Death Coil was buffed and the community rioted, seeing those green Gnomes flip out of their spider machines when they were defeated in Gnomeregan, getting my Dreadsteed, the Zeppelin rides, tensing up as I ran through Booty Bay & that jungle zone it was in.

Man, what a great time. What a great game it was. Memories I’ll always keep & cherish.

Alleria server forever…

Edit: Then not to mention the forum drama. “my staff is a good one”, FROSTSHOCK!!, the Druid who rolled on (and won) the Eye of Rag. Maximum Viper (basically Graymane in general).

Considering the racial advantage in Horde’s favor in Vanilla, i would say Alliance just wisened up and left.

So technically this Is now a horde RP server where they fight amongst themselves.

So how do you tell what the current population balances are ? The classic WoW head data must be out of date now if this story is true .
