Eden Falling takes a moment to update players about its coding progress

Eden Falling is back once again with a brief update of progress being made to the multiplayer RPG, with particular attention being made to coding and how it will string the different parts of the title together into a cohesive package.

While the update is thin on specifics, it does take a rather great length of its post to elaborate on just how important coding is. “The graphics might be gorgeous, the writing might be witty AF and the animation might be off-planet-awesome, but the thing holding it together is the code,” reasons the post. To that point, the game’s original code was getting “top-heavy” and so Eden Falling’s code is getting an overhaul.

The post also assures that a variety of modules such as the map, character UI navigation, interactions, and places and areas that player characters can visit and interact with throughout the campaign are complete, combat modules are nearing completion as are features like adaptive AI, and coding is putting all of the pieces together. Followers of the developing title should expect an update on combat in the next post, which should be arriving soon.

Readers will recall that Eden Falling is the developing multiplayer RPG that announced a healthy injection of Arizona state funding which was swiftly contested and clarified by an Arizona state agency back in February.
