Last Oasis posts a video devlog all about Walker vehicles

One of the first things that made Last Oasis stand out visually was its woodpunk Walkers — titanic vehicles of wood, fiber, and stone that serve as mobile base and transportation for players of the survival sandbox. These iconic vehicles are the focus of a new video, the first of a series of videos on the topic.

Much of the information shared in the video isn’t particularly new for regular players of the game, as it outlines the basics of getting a Walker and roughly touches on the fact that other Walkers are specially built for certain tasks like combat. The video does tout the fact that a Walker meant for cargo can be outfitted with turrets to make it a walking fortress, but also points out that modified Walkers won’t be as good as purpose-built ones.

Taking a quick check of the game’s temperature via Steam Charts, we see Last Oasis has dropped in concurrency month-over-month from its over 33K all-time peak, but still maintains a respectable peak of 4,804 players in the last 24 hours. So there’s likely a few people to perhaps group up with to make one of the larger Walkers. Assuming you don’t get killed for the crime of being in-game, anyway.
